Sandsend
Located at the foot of Lythe Bank Sandsend is a picturesque village with cottages set against a backdrop of cliffs and two meandering streams, which lead to the sandy beach. When you enter Sandsend you cannot fail to be impressed by the magnificent sweep of the bay leading to the majestic ruins of Whitby Abbey in the distance. Sandsend is a delightful village with pubs and cafés dotted along the sea front.
