Details

Parish Wood is a newly created community woodland. The entrance gate provides a disabled access point. Paths are mown regularly to encourage a range of wild flowers. A bird table and deciduous trees are home to numerous birds and insects. A wide variety of small animals use the woodland as well as the occasional fox and roe deer. Birds also nest here and butterflies fill flower-filled glades

Follow signs for Filey town centre and then for Filey Railway Station. From station head along Station Avenue, towards town centre and at roundabout take first exit onto Station Road. At next roundababout take first exit onto Scarborough Road. At next roundabout take first exit following along Scarborough Road. Follow along and take second turning right onto Sycamore Avenue. Parish Wood is off Sycamore Avenue.
