Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme.

David Kennedy takes you on a 4.5-mile walk between two attractive North York Moors villages – Hutton le Hole, the home of the game of ‘merrills’, and Lastingham, whose church was founded by St Cedd. The walk will cross grassy fields, mixed woodland and heather-covered moorland. Includes a steep section.

Packed lunch required. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Sorry, no dogs. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
