Born into a family of Italian food producers and importers, food was always an important part of Aldo’s life. He has always been involved in the food business from when his father started in the 1950’s under the name of Valerio’s Olympic Group Ltd. They were cheese and meat producers and importers of Italian food and wines.

We were the first in the UK to manufacture Mozzarella cheese and Pepperoni sausages and the original supplier of these products to Pizza Express when they opened their first ever restaurant in Wardour Street, Soho, London. As their main supplier, this relationship lasted no fewer than 40 years with Pizza Express. They also supplied many other restaurants, pizza takeaways and delicatessens all over the UK.

For over 30 years’ Aldo ran the cheese production with team of 26 employees. In 2015 he set up a new enterprise for himself, producing, on a small scale, artisan fresh pasta and tomato pasta sauces for farm shops, delicatessens, restaurants and the specialist market.

He produces long pasta, short pasta and filled pasta, all of which are made from durum wheat flour and wholemeal flour – with no additives or preservatives added. He also produces a good range of authentic Italian sauces, plus a selection of delicious meals – ready for you to heat through and enjoy.

With his unbinding passion for food, he introduces CASA VALERIO – Passione Dela Pasta his business on the Fitzwilliam Estate, in the Talbot Yard, Malton. A town which is famously known as Yorkshire’s Food Capital’.
