Details

The Friends of Dalby Forest are working with Mark Ellis, a local dry stone waller, on creating the world’s largest Dry Stone Wall Maze in the middle of Dalby Forest.

You can be part of this enormous and exciting project!
Learn how to Carve your Initials into a stone, under the expert guidance of Charles Smith. Workshops dates are 12th June, 10th July, 14th Aug, 11th Sept and 9th Oct 2016.

The Maze will be located near Adderstone Field, the walls will be 80m x 80m, 2m high and 1m wide at the base. It will use 4,200 tonnes of stone which will take 2 expert dry stone wallers 3 years to construct and turn into 1630 meters of wall.

You can become involved and learn how to carve your initials into a stone, under the expert guidance of Charles Smith.

Two workshop sessions will be held on the following dates in 2017 starting at
9.30am or 1.30pm
