Notes

  • The cottage is a 2 bedroomed and sleeps 4 people. The cottage is on 2 levels with a small step leading from the kitchen to the dining room. The dining room, lounge and downstairs cloakroom are all then on one level. There is a staircase comprising of 11 x 8 inch high steps to the first floor where the 2 bedrooms and bathroom are all situated on one level. As this is an 18 century cottage care needs to be taken when moving around the rooms as the doors on the ground floor are lower than modern day doors at a height of 68 inches and when going up and down the stairs as there is a low lintel at the bottom of the staircase which has a height of 73 inches. Upstairs the bedroom and bathroom doors are higher with a height of 78 inches but care needs to be taken when moving around the landing due to a low lintel with a height of 72 inches. All rooms with the exception of the Kitchen and bathroom are fully carpeted. The kitchen and bathroom have Camaro tiles similar to laminate flooring. We accept up to 2 well behaved dogs along with guide and assistance dogs. The driveway is made of gravel and room to park one car. Extra cars can be parked on the road outside the cottage. There is a garden with a planted border and grass. Chairs for sitting out and a table are provided in the garden shed.
