Learn to Skydive: Static Line Course at Skydive GB
Workshop/Course, from 2 Jun 2017
The Static Line Course is your first steps on the Category System, a BPA approved syllabus for you to get your skydiving ‘A Licence’.
At Skydive GB we specialise in introducing people to the sport, and there’s no better place to do it than with the backdrop of the stunning Yorkshire Coast.
During the 6 hour (minimum) intensive ground school you’ll learn how to safely exit the aircraft, learn how to fly and land a parachute safely, understand how to handle emergencies and much more. Once you’ve completed the written examination you’ll be all set to make your very first solo parachute jump.
Once kitted up, you’ll climb to 3,500 feet with your instructor and fellow students. When instructed, you’ll exit the aircraft and thanks to the Static Line, your parachute will automatically deploy. With radio contact, you’ll descend to the Parachute Landing Area where you’ll be finally debriefed by your instructor.
