Flipside Rock 'n' Roll Weekender 2017

16 & 17 June 2017

The Flipside Rock 'n' Roll Weekender returns to Whitby Pavilion for its 8th annual Summer Weekender!

This June, Whitby will have an influx of Teddy boys in their drape jackets and crepe shoes and Teddy Girls in their poodle circle skirts!

The event will be staged at Whitby Pavilion and promises to bring a colourful and lively 1950s Rock ‘n’ Roll dance with three very popular bands


Friday Evening: (7pm-12.30pm): The fab band Vintage

Saturday Afternoon: (1pm-4pm): The brilliant Dine Store Jukes

Saturday Evening: (7pm-12.30pm): The fabulous Bo Walton & The Red Alerts

Featuring Top DJs The Bradford Dude & guests DJ Pengie.

Stalls by Razzle Dazzle & Norma Jean.

Hot & Cold Food Available.

This is the eighth year at Whitby Pavilion and the event proves to be a success with Teds coming from all over the country.

From A1(M)/M1 jct 45 take A64 east (York ring road south). Follow A169 from Malton through Pickering over the moors to A171 jct. Turn right to Whitby and follow West Cliff signs. Other routes, A171 from Middlesbrough or from Scarborough.
Access road to theatre descends from Cook Memorial at eastern end of West Cliff. Car parking (Pay and Display) on access road or West Cliff, or seafront (free).
