Pannett Park Art Gallery

Pannett Park Art Gallery

Details

This exhibition brings together the work of George Weatherill (1810-1890) and his children Mary (1834-1913), Sarah Ellen (1836-1918), Elizabeth (1841-1918), and Richard (1844-1923).

Throughout the 19th and early 20th Century they created, in spectacular detail, an accurate pictorial record of the town and surrounding area. This Heritage Lottery funded project will include work which has not been on public display recently, including paintings by members of the Weatherill family as well as by artists who influenced or were influenced by the Weatherills.

This is a unique opportunity to see all these works on display in one amazing exhibition.
