This September Filey will play host to TRACKROD RALLY YORKSHIRE, the largest motor sport event taking place in the North Yorkshire Forests across the weekend of the 29th and 30th. Whilst the racing action is strictly limited to the Forestry Commission’s closed gravel tracks, car lovers will have a chance to get up close and personal as Filey accommodates the Rally HQ, Friday Scrutineering at the Filey Brigg Country Park, and a Friday night start and Saturday afternoon finish on the seafront along the Beach Road.

TRACKROD RALLY YORKSHIRE will showcase a round of two of Britain’s most prestigious national championships – the leading clubman’s series, now in its 63rd year, covering vehicles from the ‘Golden Age of Rallying’. In addition, spectators can enjoy a round of three regional rally championships featuring purpose-modified vehicles, including high-tech sports cars and hugely-resilient Land Rovers.

Also on show will be members of the British Armed Forces Motoring Association, making their annual visit to Yorkshire, entertaining the spectators with their trademark ‘all out’ driving.

TRACKROD RALLY YORKSHIRE is always a fast, thrilling and colourful spectacle so come along and be a part of the action!
