Here our farm you can try our wonderful ice creams, meet friends over a frothy cappuccino, walk down to the beach along our farm walk & enjoy the wide open skies of rural East Yorkshire where the views seem to go on for ever & ever.

When visiting the East Yorkshire Coast why not visit Mr Moo’s Ice Cream Parlour & coffee shop which can be found just 5 miles north of Hornsea near the village of Skipsea on the B1242.

The Ice Cream Parlour is the home to Mr Moo’s Real Dairy Ice Cream where visitors can not only view the delicious award-winning ice cream being made but also indulge in over 30 dazzling ice cream flavours, choosing from a range of wonderful cones to mouth-watering awe-inspiring sundaes!

To complement the range of ice cream, Mr Moo’s also has on offer a range of teas & coffees which are supplied by Taylors of Harrogate, the menu features freshly baked cakes, scones & savouries whilst our lunch menu includes freshly baked baguettes, filled panini & sandwiches. Where ever possible we use local suppliers to provide the ingredients for the ever changing menus.

The ice cream parlour provides both indoor & outdoor seating with viewing areas for the livestock. Adjacent to the large car park is the Farmwalk that takes visitors through slowly establishing woodland, down to the beach at Withow Gap. There is plenty to see on the walk ranging from a variety of World War I & II coastal defences to the Royal Observer Corps cold war bunker [limited access]. The walk leads through open fields with mature hedgerows & dykes which are home to a variety of birds & mammals, the farm boasts several species of owl whilst the dyke is home to water voles. We can even provide a picnic for you to take on your walk!

For those wishing to stay a while, there is a 5 pitch CL site [Caravan Club members only] with electric hook ups. Here at Southfield House Farm we have, on the CL [caravan club members only] an enclosed grass site with electric hook ups, three hard-standings pitches & 2 grass pitches. The Rally Field & Paddock Caravan Site [open to non-members] has 40 grass pitches, 14 with electric hook ups.

Notes

With an idyllic footpath down to the beach on site, there is no better place to enjoy a delightful ice cream. However, it is worth noting that the access onto the beach is very uneven and therefore not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
