Details

A unique new event is coming to the beautiful coastal resort of Filey.

To celebrate Filey’s traditional fishing heritage, the community has come together to create Filey’s Fishing Christmas Tree made
from lobsterpots and all things fishy! The big inaugural switch-on will be Friday 1st December at 6.30pm on Coble
Landing.

Come and join us from 4.30pm on Coble Landing in Filey for free family festive entertainment and activities, provided by various community groups, including the ever-popular Filey Fishermen’s Choir and a visit from Santa on his sea-faring sleigh!

Enjoy this feast of carols, lights and fun against the stunning backdrop of Filey Bay.

The Lobster Pot Tree will be lit for all to enjoy throughout December and the first week of January. Combine a visit to the Christmas Tree with a stay in Filey to enjoy the independent shops, bars and eateries.
