By Road:
Take M1, A1 and A64 to York then A1237 ring road. Follow A19 towards Thirsk, turn off at Easingwold to Coxwold to Byland Abbey and Wass. One mile to Ampleforth road and we are on the left. Signposted Carr House with pheasant logo on. Your SAT NAV may take you to house opposite which has locked gates -our drive is open .

By Public Transport:
From York take the 31X bus from Exhibition Square . You can ask it to stop at the bottom of our drive which is 1 mile from Wass on the Ampleforth road

Due to the age and layout of the property which was built between 1530 and 1580 we are unable to offer disabled accommodation other than that we have ground floor rooms with one step up into the bedroom
