We are very pleased to announce that our 2019 Pullman Dining Services are now available. Due to the popularity of our dining trains, advance booking is essential. To avoid disappointment book online at nymr.co.uk/pullman

Sit back, relax and enjoy the enchanting North York Moors National Park with friends and family as you experience an unforgettable lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal on board the Pullman Dining Train. With years of catering experience behind us, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality of service. Experience seasonal menus featuring the best locally sourced food and drink, as you travel on a journey through the heart of our wonderful countryside.

The luxurious carriages are a stylish sanctuary with observation windows perfect for watching the scenery unfold. Our Pullman Train Manager is on hand, from welcoming you on board, to bidding you farewell at the end of your journey.

Make your day even more special and upgrade your dining experiences with some finishing touches and gift ideas such as welcome drinks, flowers, champagne and chocolates.

Yorkshire Aperitifs and White Roses

Enjoy a glass of Yorkshire wine or real ale from the Great Yorkshire Brewery, along with a traditional white rose of Yorkshire buttonhole, as you board your carriage
Starters

Summer vegetable soup topped with double cream, Yorkshire croutons and fresh parsley (V)
Chilled salmon mayonnaise served with a mixed leaf salad and lemon
Yorkshire puddings served with onion gravy and mint sauce (if requested)
Pineapple, melon and strawberries served in the glass, topped with Yorkshire sparkling wine and gooseberry compote (V)
Danby Bakery bread rolls will accompany your choice of starter

Main Course

Roast Yorkshire sirloin of beef served with homemade Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce and onion gravy
Breast of chicken filled with Wensleydale cheese, wrapped in streaky bacon and baked in the oven, served with a white wine sauce topped with fresh steamed asparagus
Yorkshire vegetable and fettle wellington served with a white wine, mushroom and cream sauce (V)

Menu choices are required at least 4 weeks in advance of your date of travel (if not already selected when booking) as all meals are prepared on board the train on the day. Selections are not required for the Pullman Tea or Festive Afternoon Tea services.
For exclusivity you can purchase additional seats at the full adult fare.
Due to health and safety we do not allow children ages 0 - 4 years to travel on the Pullman Dining services.
As the Pullman Dining train set consists of heritage carriages, it is not possible to use a wheelchair inside the train, and thus all customers must be able to walk to their seats. For further information email info@nymr.co.uk.
If you wish to travel on a standard service to connect with a Pullman Dining Service, a valid separate ticket will be required which can be purchased from the Booking Office.

There are toilets, baby-changing facilities and additional access facilities at Pickering and selected other stations along the line. There are also refreshment facilities and gift shops and many of the stations, as well as a Customer Services office at Pickering. The railway is delighted to welcomes pushchairs and dogs on its services (subject to available space. Please note there is a charge for dogs to travel on board)
