“Very average”
The Manse was very helpful in letting us leave our biking gear early so we could catch the local steam train. The room was tiny but clean. Overall the decoration was tired. The bed was too soft for us but mostly we hated the incontinence sheet which covered the mattress and made a crinkly noise when we moved. I stay away most weeks never had that anywhere ever! Breakfast was in the very smelly conservatory. Breakfast to the smell of deep fat frying is not nice. The cold breakfast offered was very generous with lots of fruit. The hot breakfast was okay but the fried egg was awash with oil. The room good far too hot with the sun shining in. This should have cost around £60 not the £85 we paid as it was average and staff seemed disorganised. Would look for somewhere else if we had to go back.
