It’s also an excellent detour to the sleepy hamlet of Ellerburn 1.5 miles up the valley with its ancient Saxon Church. Don’t miss The Bridestones – an impressive sandstone outcrop situated along the scenic 9 mile Dalby Forest Drive.
If you are looking for something more active, Dalby Forest is a fantastic place for walking, cycling and nature watching. Try one of several off-road cycling routes for all different ages and abilities.
