DANNY SUTCLIFFE as MC

LEICESTER MERCURY COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR FINALIST 2012OFF THE RAILS COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR 2012
ROCK RADIO COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR 2012
FUNHOUSE COMEDY CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS 2011
SMACKED ARSE SEARCH FOR A STAR WINNER 2014

Danny started performing in 2010 after participating in a comedy course run by legendary comedy writer Ashley Boroda. With his unique style and ability Danny has been recognised as one of the most gifted emerging talents on the UK comedy scene. His set consists of a mixture of clever one liners and slick jokes that that leaves you aching from laughing. A great MC with a very likeable manner, Danny is one of those acts that leaves a lasting impression.

Danny is a regular on the festival circuit having performed at ‘Kendal Calling’, ‘2000 Trees’, ‘Blissfields’ & ‘Beat-Herder’ – he’s also a favourite at NABD Biker Rallies. In 2015 he provided support for Brendon Burns on his ‘Out The Box’ tour and for Jackass star Steve O in 2016 on his UK tour. Danny also appeared in the critically acclaimed play ‘The House That Stank Of Death’ at The Salford Lowry. He’s also performed a sell out solo show entitled ‘An Audience With Danny Sutcliffe’ at the Town Hall Tavern in Stockport in 2012 as well as having his own radio show on Tameside Radio called Wednesday Biscuits, which ran from 2012 – 2015. Danny has also appeared on BBC Radio Manchester, FAB Radio & Wythenshawe FM as well as local Manchester TV station That’s TV. Danny was also recently part of the Laterooms online advertisement campaign which ran during the Channel 4 Comedy Gala

“One liners Jimmy Carr would be proud of” Chortle “Dazzles with his mix of surreal and observational gags. A manic, unruly energy belies a great writing talent” The Skinny

MITCH BENN

Mitch Benn is not only one of the most sought-after acts on the comedy circuit but is widely acknowledged as one of the best writer/performers of comic songs in the country. Mitch began his comedy career in Edinburgh in 1994. He moved to London in 1996 and quickly established himself as a comedy club "headliner" as well as a favourite on the university circuit.

Mitch is a regular writer and performer on "The Now Show" for BBC Radio 4 and "It's Been a Bad Week" for BBC Radio 2. Three series of his successful Radio 4 show, "Mitch Benn's Crimes Against Music" have been broadcast so far. He also presents "The Mitch Benn Music Show" on BBC Radio 7.

"Although the UK has a fine tradition in producing top- notch musical comedians, we have recently been left in the dust by the arrival of acts like Tim Minchin and Tenacious D, two acts who have found international stardom holding a tune as well as splitting their audience’s sides. This is where Mitch Benn comes in. Not exactly a new name on the comedy circuit, Benn has spent the last few years quietly composing some of the best rib-ticklers you’ll ever hear." Tom Goodwyn, Oxford Times.

SEAN PERCIVAL

Black Country comic Sean Percival is an ex-welder from Dudley (“It’s a lovely place to come from but bloody horrible to go back to”) whose act is steeped in the traditions of the working mens clubs circuit, but bang up to date with its upfront attitude. Sean’s brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny way.

A festival favourite, he has performed at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury and Reading Festivals, and as a well established headliner he performs at all major comedy clubs around the UK as well as being a regular host for the Jongleurs comedy clubs.

In demand as a script writer, Sean works regularly with likes of Johnny Vaughan for Capital Radio. He spent two years writing and performing on Capital fm's drive time radio show in Birmingham and for Heart fm in Birmingham, and provided the voice for "Black Country Bob" on both those shows fronted by Talk Radio's host and impressionist Ian Danter.

"Sean's comedy is the comedy of honesty. His act is the working man's revenge on the safe, middle-class, politically correct humour that has dominated comedy. Sean's humour is not surreal, it's not wacky, it's just bloody funny. This is not smile humour, this is bust your gut rubber underpants stuff" (Joan Serone Bungalow, What's On)

"…the big gold star of the show must be the long-haired man from Dudley. He came. He spoke. He had us curled up begging for more…Sean Percival was the best heckler worrier I've seen for years…" (Evening Mail TV)

“Absolutely brilliant – can we book him for our Christmas show please” Red Card Comedy, Norwich.
