Hunmanby Cancer Fund will host their Christmas Market on 28th November from 10am at the Hunmanby Community Centre.
Maureen Chambers, Chairman of the group, said: “We raise funds for cancer causes which benefit the local community. We are a committee of 11 ladies who willingly contribute our time, effort and energy to fundraising activities.
“Our Christmas event will have various stalls including Crofts Chocolates, cakes, a raffle, new gifts, jigsaws and jewellery. There is a small entrance fee of just £1.50 to include a tea/coffee and a mince pie. This year’s proceeds will go the Martin House Children’s Hospice, which is based near Wetherby and provides hospice care for children and young people across North, East and West Yorkshire.”
Alex Grant, co-owner of Crofts, said: “We are delighted to support such a wonderful cause which is based in Hunmanby.
