North Yorkshire Water Park, at Wykeham Lakes near Scarborough, is home to one of the largest natural watersport lakes in North Yorkshire. The Water Park, spanning 250 hectares, offers a range of fun filled activities suitable for the whole family!

Create unforgettable adventures and experience the thrills of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Open Water Swimming available 7 days a week. Whether you are looking to develop your watersport skills, challenge yourself to learn something new, or simply want to take in the beautiful lakeside views, there’s an activity to suit everyone!

Take a leisurely stroll, jog, or cycle along our new 2.5km all-terrain gravelled track with views of the beautiful natural landscape, or hop on a pedalo to enjoy the views from the water! The Water Park is dog friendly, but make sure to keep them on a lead so wildlife and nesting birds aren’t disturbed.

Our café is open for takeaway hot and cold drinks and delicious cold snacks.

The Water Park has three well stocked lakes, with specialist trout, predator and coarse lakes to choose from, within a short walk of the leisure lake.

The Water Park has recently been granted full planning permission by Scarborough Borough Council to become a year-round visitor destination with a new Wake Park and permanent cafe. The build programme is still being finalised and we will be posting updates on our website and social media as work commences and regarding our plans for opening next year.
