By Road:
We are quite easy to find as we are on the main Scarborough to Pickering Road (A170). There are no little farm lanes or side roads to go down, so access is very good compared with some sites. The site is set back, so even though Pinewood is directly off the main road, it is still very quiet.

From A64: After Staxton roundabout we are approx. 3 miles from Scarborough. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit (Seamer, Ayton) onto Main Street, Seamer. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit (straight on). Take the first right onto Irton Moor Lane. Carry on and at the top of the road turn right. Carry on up the hill for a couple of minutes only and as you see the speed limit change to 40MPH we are immediately on your left.

If you miss the turning, don't worry, there's a round about half a mile down the road - just go round the roundabout and back up the hill.

If you are using Sat Nav - once on the A170, and only 1/2 mile away, it will tell you to take the next turning up a small road signposted Irton Mount. (This is a small farm track and a farm with a small camping and caravanning site there - (this is not us). Carry on up the main road (up hill) and we are on your next left after this turning.

From A165 (Filey) turn left as A1039/King Hill. Continue to follow A1039. At next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A64. Then follow directions as above

By Public Transport:
From Scarborough Railway Station, turn left and follow road going away from the town centre. You'll pass a small high street with a spar shop, carry straight on (there's an old clock tower on the right - which is called Bed king), then you'll pass 2 pubs on your right the first one is called ' The New Tavern' and the next is 'The Crown Tavern'. Carry on past these for 1/2 a mile and you will come to a roundabout.
This is the start of the A170. Carry on up the hill (quite steep in places- but there is a pathway all the way up), and you will pass a large campsite on the left called Jacobs Mount. As the road straightens up; we are on the right and are 1 1/2 miles from the railway station.

A taxi should cost around £6
