Scarborough Museums Trust and Woodend are excited to have commissioned UK artist Annabel McCourt to create new work, Suffering Arcadia, which is to be shown for the first time at the Art Gallery.
With a diverse portfolio, Annabel’s works range from lens based social realism to installation art and architectural interventions, this exhibition is not to be missed. Also on show: The Electric Fence, originally commissioned by Hull 2017 UK City of Culture the Fence has just arrived back from Dakar and will be off to China after Scarborough, as part of the British Council, Curators touring show.
