Inspiring Scarborough residents to get out of the house and into the outdoors.

North Yorkshire County Council has chosen Scarborough to pilot a new project to promote trails and activities in the local area. Our aim is to inspire residents to get out of the house and into the outdoors, ready to walk, socialise and discover the fantastic nature, history and landscape on their doorstep.

There are huge benefits of outdoor activities, such as stretching your legs, spending time with family and friends and exploring what the local area has to offer. However, sometimes it can be hard to find accessible trails with interesting sights along the way - and this is where Discoveries on your Doorstep comes in!

Walk Route: Various fun trails.

Access: easy
