Abbey Tea Rooms

Abbey Tea Rooms

Details

For rest and relaxation enjoy a refreshing cup of tea in the Tea Room, where sandwiches, lights meals and afternoon tea are served. Try a slice of delicious apple cake made with apples from our orchard.

The Tea Room, furnished with the famous ‘Mousey Thompson’ tables, is situated off the Main Hall in the Central Building. It provides a welcome respite and nourishing refreshments.

Using locally produced products where we can, our menu includes homemade cakes and scones, ciabattas, light meals, salads and delicious afternoon teas.

We also have freshly ground coffees and Yorkshire tea or why not try a glass of our Ampleforth cider or Abbey beer with your meal or relax in our courtyard with a glass of wine?
