Experience Yorkshire

Where to start with this fantastic county…..? Contact Sarah at Experience Yorkshire for a bespoke tour planning meeting and go from there!

Experience Yorkshire offers a wide range of tours for individuals through to large groups. We can offer ½ or full day walking tours tailored to your requirements. We are also able to offer step-on coach guiding to ensure your group gets to see the best of Yorkshire.

How about a walking tour round the wonderful medieval city of York followed by a visit to the world-famous York Minster? We are fully accredited to guide in the Minster and can enhance any visit with our in-depth knowledge of the history, architecture, stained glass and characters of this awe-inspiring building.

Alternatively, you might like to visit the UK City of Culture for 2017, Kingston upon Hull. Walk round the old city to learn about the maritime heritage of this underrated city, marvel at the Edwardian architecture of the civic buildings, whilst discovering the colourful characters that make this such a unique city.

In addition to this we work with a York based chauffeur firm if you wish to go further afield – how about visiting the spectacular Castle Howard made famous in Brideshead Revisited. Or discover the beautiful but underrated Yorkshire Wolds that have inspired some of David Hockney’s most famous works. Or visit the bustling market town of Thirsk to learn all about the most famous vet in the world, James Herriot; follow this up with a drive through the Yorkshire Dales breathing in the countryside that he lived and worked in.

Please contact us to start planning your visit.
