Scarborough really does have something for everyone, young, old, and in-between. Thrill seekers and holiday makers looking for an action-packed day of sport or adventure, culture vultures wanting great art or theatre, or busy bees needing relaxation, fresh air and good food: Scarborough has it all.

"Scarborough South Bay - what a beautiful place! Stunning Italian Gardens and a sea view to die for, safe to say I got plenty of photos!" @sophieblyss

Scarborough's North and South Beaches are the highlights, offering two very different bays flanking a dramatic headland with its own spectacular ruined amusement arcades, fun fairs and exciting speedboat rides; the Seaside Award winning North Bay offers gentler, more nostalgic, pleasures. But it's quick and easy to travel from one to the other, and you'll find vivid chalets, traditional donkey rides, and delicious fish and chips, ice cream and candyfloss on both seafronts.

In the town itself, find world'class theatres including the beautiful seafront Spa Theatre, the glorious Open Air Theatre and the renowed Stephen Joseph Theatre, plus museums, galleries and music venues and cafes and restaurants to appeal to both the casual and the fine diner.
