1. YMCA Theatre
The YMCA Theatre is a very popular theatre with locals and tourists alike. It is a youth and community orientated theatre which sees both professional and amateur productions throughout the year.
The theatre also boasts its own in-house production company (YMCA Productions) who present many productions at easter and throughout the summer season.
YMCA Productions also presents a very popular pantomime at Christmas.
The YMCA Theatre has a very busy schedule! We can seat up to 290 people in our tiered fully air-conditioned auditorium. We have a deaf loop and provide accessible performances throughout the year.
The Stephen Joseph Theatre is home to Alan Ayckbourn, the world's most performed living playwright and boasts 2 auditoria: The Round and The McCarthy, which also doubles as a cinema. It is licensed for both weddings and wedding receptions, which can be held in either theatre or the function room. The Theatre also hosts many conferences, seminars, charity events and corporate functions and can cater for all requirements and budgets.

Local legends Eat Me Café have taken up residency in the comfortable and spacious first floor bar area – a great place to enjoy a delicious meal or pre/post-show drinks.
The Spa Complex is unique amongst British venues, not only because of its coastal location on the beautiful South Bay, but also for the variety of facilities housed within the magnificent Victorian building. Specialising in conferences and meetings, the Spa offers a range of excellent facilities, combining modern comfort with the very latest in technology.
The three main conference halls; The Grand Hall, Spa Theatre and Ocean Room, are all equipped with state of the art technical systems. The Spa has the capacity for more than 3000 delegates and an exhibition space of over 1700 m2. This, combined with a range of smaller meeting and function rooms, enables the Spa to accommodate a wide variety of events.
With in-house specialist conference, technical and catering teams, the venue offers a complete conference solution and having welcomed many conferences to the venue the team provides the expertise to ensure that all conferences are delivered to a high standard.
4. Scarborough Open Air Theatre
As Europe's largest open air theatre, this iconic venue was re-opened in grand style back in the summer of 2010 by Her Majesty the Queen!
This historic site, situated on the Yorkshire Coast in the beautiful town of Scarborough, is proud to host some of the finest national and international acts.
With the likes of Elton John, Lionel Richie, Little Mix, James, Jesse J, Tom Jones, Elaine Paige, Kylie and UB40 having already performed to thousands of adoring fans, the stage is now set for many more years of entertainment at the Open Air Theatre!
