“Ahoy me hearties! Pick up your copy of the Treasure Trail and find doubloons around the town that spell a word. Found the word? Now get your swagger on and submit your entry into the Treasure Chests in The Brunswick Shopping Centre, Boyes and The Market Hall and you could win some fantastic booty! Anchor down in the Brunswick from 21st November, then every Thursday night at 7pm up to the last Thursday before Christmas but Avast ye! Entrants have to be there in person to win!

Your chance to win prizes worth over £1000 in total including vouchers, gifts, meals, hampers and more - scroll down to see the full list!

How to take part:

1 - Pick up a treasure map (entry form) from the SJT, Boyes, the Brunswick Shopping Centre, Scarborough Market and other locations around town from Thursday 14 November.
2 - Follow the treasure map to find all 21 gold doubloons, each of which will have a letter on.
3 - These letters will form a piratey phrase - complete this and fill in with your contact details on the form.
4 - Drop your form at any time into one of our treasure chests, located in the Brunswick Centre, at Boyes and in the Market.

Five separate prize draws will be made on these late-night shopping evenings at 7pm:
Thursday 21 November, Thursday 28 November, Thursday 5 December, Thursday 12 December, Thursday 19 December

All completed forms not chosen as a winner will be put forward to the next draw.


The Treasure Trail starts on Thursday from 14 November 2019 and the prize draws will take place every Thursday from the 21 November.

Look out for the marauding pirates from the Stephen Joseph Theatre’s Treasure Island who will be promoting the treasure trail on Thursday nights and weekends!
