About
Set... in a peaceful farm location, stay in Humble Bee Farm Cottages for an unforgettable holiday in Yorkshire!
Merry Dale and Swallows Nest Cottages are two of three cottages on this farm (the third being Humble Bee Cottage listed separately). These are superbly converted from historic farm buildings into comfortable country cottages.
Merry Dale and Swallows Nest Cottages each has its own private outdoor hot tub under a pergola with festoon lighting, log burner, and a wall-mounted free-view TV. HDMI cable available for guests use.
Merry Dale Cottage has two en-suite bedrooms with comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and under-floor heating. This cottage also has a fabulous picture window overlooking the farmyard, so why not relax and watch the free range hens peck about!
Swallows Nest Cottage is tucked away in a quiet corner of the courtyard and includes two en-suite bathrooms with a large lounge, lovely kitchen and dining area. Under-floor heating will keep you warm and cosy when you return from a brisk farm walk.
With parking close to the cottages and with their Four Star Gold award, Humble Bee Cottages are homely, comfortable cottages with a touch of luxury.
Golf, tennis and gym facility approximately 1 and a half miles away. Cycle routes close by. Fishing - both course and sea fishing available close by. Clay pigeon shooting only half a mile. Situated on the Wolds Way.
The site also includes The Hive, a café bar that offers takeaway drinks, a tasty meal menu, barista coffee and an alfresco dining area. Breakfast sandwiches, pizzas, burgers and cakes are also available at peak times. Next door you’ll find the onsite shop with souvenirs, firepit timber, locally-brewed beers, wines and Prosecco. Please check for opening dates and times.
