About

Keld Head Farm Cottages were created in 1989 from a group of traditional stone built stables and barns arranged around a courtyard, tastefully and expertly restored by local craftsmen maintaining their original character with exposed beams and traditional stone fireplaces. They are spacious; superbly equipped, tastefully furnished with the emphasis on comfort and relaxation. There are large gardens with a play area, garden house and private parking. Two new cottages, Pasture View and The Smithy were completed in 2003.

Our quality self catering holiday cottages are open all year round.. The holiday cottages vary in size with six ground floor easy access and three two storey some with their own private garden. They sleep from 2 to 8 people.

We are situated on the outskirts or the ancient market town of Pickering which boasts a traditional steam railway, a medieval castle, and a number of shops, eateries, and pubs. Our cottages are a short drive from the North York Moors National Park and York Moors Steam Railway, the historic City of York and the popular seaside resorts of Whitby, Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough.
