Laura's Cottage


Nestled on the southern edge amongst the breathtaking beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park is Laura's Cottage. A 5 star beautifully designed single storey detached barn conversion, located just outside the pretty little village of Cropton.

Ideal for those who want quality and luxury in a rural setting with panoramic views over the Vale of Pickering. The property has been renovated with great attention to detail and equipped with exceptional quality furniture and fittings, with all your comforts in mind for a holiday to remember.

The cottage is a single storey building with a large open plan lounge / kitchen area. You will have modern appliances including dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. The lounge benefits from an electric wood burning stove, two leather settees and a flat screen LCD TV with DVD player.

French doors, in the lounge, open to a private patio. You will have the use of garden furniture and you can enjoy panoramic views over open countryside.
Laura's cottage has two luxurious bedrooms. The double bedroom has en-suite shower facilities with state of the art steam cabin and granite floor. The second bedroom has twin beds (which can be converted to a Super King if required) and en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have flat screen LCD TV's, finest quality cotton sheets and bath towels.

The location of Laura's Cottage is ideal for visiting many local attractions including the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at nearby Pickering, Flamingoland, Whitby, Heartbeat Country, Castle Howard and the ancient city of York.

We are open all year round. The minimum stay is 3 nights. Please contact us for flexible stay options. Sorry no pets. Prices range from £500 (low season) to £850 (high season)Included in the price is Electric - Heating - Bed linen - Towels & a 'Welcome Pack' (Fresh flowers - Bottle of wine - Milk - Eggs - Fresh Cream Scones)

Laura's Cottage will be available from 4 pm onwards on your date of arrival. We request you vacate the property by 10 am on your departure day to allow us time to prepare for our next guests. Access Statement. Check the availability calendar. Most importantly you will receive a warm friendly welcome with true Yorkshire hospitality. You will be welcomed with a selection of home cooked goodies!
