Within easy reach by car is the historic walled city of York.

In the area there are many castles, abbeys and stately homes including Castle Howard. On Yorkshire's heritage Coast the seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough have good sandy beaches with Robin Hood's bay and other quaint fishing villages all only a short drive away.

Levisham is an ideal location for touring, walking and the coast. Riding, fishing and golf are also available in the vicinity or just relax in peaceful surroundings!
