About

Lumley Cottage is a delightful stone-built cottage tucked away quietly in the pretty village of Thornton-Le-Dale that sleeps three guests in two bedrooms and is ideal for couples or small families wishing to visit the North York Moors National Park.

The cottage has a comfortable sitting room complete with a welcoming log burning stove and a spacious kitchen diner. In the winter snuggle up in front of the log burner and enjoy a roaring fire and in the warmer months, the private courtyard garden to the rear of the property provides an ideal place for enjoying a glass of wine or alfresco dining – perfect for relaxing on a summer’s evening.

The village is well served with lots of independent shops including a bakery, butchers, pharmacy and post office as well as a variety of eating places all within walking distance of the cottage. One small dog accepted.
