The Morningside Hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and is a modern and comfortable hotel located in the glorious town of Whitby. The hotel is located in a peaceful location with exceptional views overlooking the sea. The Morningside has been run by Paul and Sandra since 1989 and is a family run hotel who pride themselves on high standards of cleanliness and service alongside their friendly and courteous staff, you will not be disappointed.

Our main aim is to deliver a home away from home feel to your stay, with our friendly and courteous staff that will endeavour to make your stay a relaxing, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Morningside offer various room types.  Descriptions of the rooms are below.  All of the rooms are en-suite and have tea and coffee facilities which are replenished each day, Freeview TVs, free WiFi and hairdryers. The Seaviews and Suites also include a 46ltr mini fridge.

All rooms are modern, well furnished and maintained to a high standard. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness and comfort of all our rooms - our aim is to make your stay a pleasant one so that you will return time and time again.

We have a large and comfortable lounge with it's armchairs and sofa's which are arranged to make it a easy and comfortable environment for you to enjoy and admire the uninterrupted sea views. The hotel also has a comprehensively stocked bar, so please sit back enjoy the ambiance and spectacular views with a nice chilled glass of wine or drink of your choice whilst you take in the relaxed atmosphere to finish your day.

Any dietary requirements can and will be catered for with prior notice. Our menu is prepared using the finest quality local ingredients.
