About

Murkhead Holiday Cottages are a newly converted farm building split into three cottages. They are all furnished and decorated to the highest standard and have fabulous views of the surrounding fields. Each cottage sleeps four with a double and twin room, each with their own en-suite.

The cottages are located within the grounds of Murk Head Farm in the stunning countryside of Harwood Dale, which is in the National Parks, close to Dalby Forest; a renowned walking area. The seaside town of Scarborough, with stunning beaches, is eight miles away. The beautiful fishing village of Whitby is just 10 miles away.

The stunning location lends itself to both Summer and Winter breaks and is ideal for walkers and beach fans alike. Now with super fast WIFI.

Road Directions

From Scarborough Railway Station, turn left down Westborough. Turn right onto the A171 Whitby Road. Go through Scalby village and then Burniston. After the petrol station in Burniston turn left signposted Harwood Dale. Continue for about four miles going past the church in Harwood Dale. Eventually you come to a T junction. Murkhead Farm is straight over the T junction onto a private road which takes you up the hill to the farm.
