Pickering is the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore. There is something for everyone in and around Pickering, you don't need to travel far to find a wealth of wonderful attractions, be it The North Yorkshire Moors Railway, castles, museums, the seaside, or family fun attractions to name just a few. We are 10 minutes walk to the centre of Pickering, a bustling unspoilt market town. There is a wide range of café's, pubs and restaurants to eat in, and plenty of shops to suit all tastes.

All of our beautiful guest rooms have been completely refurbished, and are light and spacious. Giving off a relaxed and happy atmosphere, to enable you to unwind and enjoy your stay with us.

A delicious home cooked hearty meal designed to set you up for the day! We try to ensure all our food is locally sourced, where possible organic and eggs are free range. (We can even tell you the name of the hen the egg comes from!)

There is nothing worse than putting on wet soggy outside clothes at the beginning of a new day. We provide a drying room for all wet coats walking boots etc.

We have secure undercover storage for bikes, we have a power hose for washing bikes, and workshop for doing repairs etc.
Our parking is off road and secure once the gates are shut.

If you are bringing children then give us a ring and tell us what you need, we have lots of baby/toddler equipment which you are very welcome to use.

We have free WIFI for all guests.

We allow one extremely well behaved dog in the Barn Room. I am afraid they are not allowed to be left in the room unattended at any time. Any damage will be charged for.

We also offer a special weekend where all three rooms are booked by the same party for a minimum of two nights. We would offer an evening meal on the first night, and any other subsequent meals all of which are pre booked. We can cater for children and can provide a high tea. This weekend is ideal for family groups, as it will be tailor made for you. For further information please give us a call.

Road Directions

By Road: We are situated on the A170 Thirsk to Scarborough road just a few minutes from Pickering town centre. Heading out of town on the A170 towards Helmsley, we are on the right hand side approximately 250 metres after The Sun Inn look out for our sign. If you arrive into Pickering from Helmsley stay on the main A170 into town we are on the left approximately half a mile into the town. Our postcode for sat nav is YO18 8BB. If you encounter any problems just ring us and we will point you in the right direction.
