About

Built in Scarborough's Victorian heyday the Red Lea Hotel was originally six elegant town-houses!

A south-facing Victorian terrace, the Red Lea Hotel has been carefully and tastefully modernised whilst retaining much of its original character.

The Red Lea Indoor Swimming Pool is available to all our guests, free of charge.

The Red Lea's owners, Sara and Nick Allen, and their team are committed to providing friendly and efficient service. Our aim is to provide you with all the comforts of home and to ensure that your stay at our Scarborough Hotel is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

The unique ambience brings frequent compliments from first-time guests and is very much the reason that so many regulars return time after time. Guests are always assured of a friendly welcome at the Red Lea Hotel North Yorkshire.

Our hotel rooms are comfortable, quality accommodation.
Our sixty-eight bedrooms offer private facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone and a complimentary beverage tray.

The hotel is centrally heated throughout with a lift to all upper floors, with our front rooms offering great views of the Scarborough Coast.

We are constantly striving to uphold and exceed the expectations of our new and returning guests.

Our accommodation is a major part of our recent refurbishment giving the hotel rooms the level of comfort and quality we're proud to offer.

Hotel Rooms With limited Disabled Access are available.
Unfortunately access to the Hotel does include 7 steps into the building.

Coach parties welcome early or late season only; please contact for details.
