Introduction
We aim to cater for all the needs of our visitors in our four bed roomed guest house. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.
Pre-arrival
Whitby Train Station is five minutes by car. Our website provides photographs and all information you should require. If you wish to contact us our details are tel: 01947 605468
Arrival and car parking facilities
Outside the premises there is on-street parking with low kerb and no gradients. A disc permit parking system operates for which we charge 50p a day. Assistance with luggage is always offered to all our guests. The entrance is accessed along a small paved path where there is a small step (3 inches).

Guests are escorted to their rooms with a full explanation of the facilities available.
Public areas - general (internal)
Guest dining room is on the ground floor with fitted carpets throughout the house. There are 12 stairs to the first bedroom and small landing, 5 stairs to another larger landing to rooms 2 & 3, and additional 9 stairs, small landing then 7 stairs to room 4.
Public areas - WC
All guest bedrooms are en-suite.
Dining room
Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor. Furniture is flexible and can be moved on request. There are chairs with no arms which can be moved, the tables are 75cm square sitting 2 persons at each table. Chairs with arms available on request. Waitress service is standard. All dietary requirements are catered for. The Guest House is strictly non smoking throughout the premises.
Laundry
Washing & drying facilities are available on request. An iron and ironing board is available when requested.
Shop amenities
Newsagents, town centre shops & local public house are 5 minutes away.
Bedrooms
Room 1 is located at top of first flight of stairs with a secure lockable fire door with separate wc/bathroom with shower enclosure and double bedroom.
Room 2 is located 5 stairs up, next to room 3 both have secure locks and fire doors with en-suite and shower facilities.
Bathrooms, shower-rooms and WCs
Room 1 has separate bathroom and wc with wooden floors.
All other rooms are en-suite, with vinyl floor covering (in en suites). All rooms have private facilities.
Grounds and garden
We have a small front garden with a bench available for our guests.
Additional information
We have additional radiators available on request. Full central heating is in all our areas. Fans are available on request (multi variable speed 16 inch adjustable height).
