The Belfry offers luxury self-catering accommodation in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. This beautiful Victorian apartment features its own landscaped private gardens and an enclosed patio with outdoor dining area.

Set on a quiet, tree-lined street, the Belfry is perfectly situated just a short walk to the beach and town centre – where you will find all the local amenities. A mini supermarket and two real ale pubs are just around the corner.

This accommodation is ideal for couples and small families.

The holiday apartment can accommodate up to four people in two beautiful double bedrooms, both of which have a double bed. The rear bedroom overlooks the landscaped patio and gardens; the front bedroom offers elevated views of the front garden and a flowered embankment.

Each bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, bedside tables and lamps, a chest of drawers, dressing table, mirror and a laundry bag. The rear bedroom also has an alarm clock, luggage rack, hairdryer and a TV with built-in DVD player.

Each room has two soft, fluffy bath towels, a hand towel and two face washers.

The Belfry has a modern bathroom that features a bath, electric shower, WC, wash basin, towel rack, vanity cabinet, mirror, heated towel rail, bath mat, shaver plug adaptor and complimentary toiletries.

Living room

The living room is a spacious, cosy and beautiful room with many period features, including a cast iron ornamental fireplace, ceiling rose and large bay window. It is equipped with free wi-fi, plush sofas, quality oak furniture, a large LED TV, Blu-Ray DVD player, Sony Bluetooth speaker, and a selection of board games, books and DVDs.

There is also an oak dining table with four leather chairs – making it the perfect place to wine, dine or relax with a good book.

The newly-fitted kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for a self-catering break. With LED downlights and plenty of natural light flooding in from the garden, it’s a bright and airy room with plenty of workspace and storage.

It features an oven, gas hob, microwave, washer, dishwasher, frost-free fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, utensils, crockery, cutlery, cafeteria, espresso maker, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a starter pack of dishwasher tablets.

Step out from the kitchen onto a secluded patio area, featuring an outdoor setting and coffee table. It’s a great place to enjoy a drink and snacks in the warmer months, as it captures the sun. Walk up the steps into the private landscaped garden and you’ll find a large, flat lawn perfect for relaxing in in summer.

The Belfry has its own private entrance and porch featuring coat hooks, wall lamp and shelving.

Local area

The Belfry is a short walk from both the town centre and beach – where you will find a wide range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The popular strips of Falsgrave and Ramshill are also within a five minute walk.

The Scarborough area really does offer something for everyone. From surfing, swimming and fishing, to sailing, hiking and cycling, you’ll love exploring the beautiful coastline, countryside and National Parks.

For a great day out, head off to the nearby Flamingo Land Theme Park & Zoo, or explore Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Filey, Bridlington and 'Heartbeat' country on the North Yorkshire Moors.
