About
The Endeavour nestles in an old, cobbled street at the heart of the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Staithes. Staithes is such a special place – walk down the hill and you will completely lose track of all time, worries (and most likely your phone signal) which let’s admit is no bad thing!
The Endeavour takes its name from the flagship of the famous explorer Capt. James Cook, who got his first taste of the sea here when he moved to Staithes in 1744. The building is over two hundred years old and retains much of its character with wood panelling, narrow staircases, and sash windows.
The Endeavour has been extensively refurbished to offer four individually styled double rooms with full ensuite facilities, one which of which can be a twin or super-king and another with panoramic views of the sea and harbour.
All rooms include a delicious breakfast served in our dining room with options including a traditional Full English, Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs or local Staithes Smoked Kippers. We take pride in sourcing local ingredients and supporting the many artisan food producers in the area. Vegan and vegetarian options are always available.
Our luxury ensuite accommodation offers a unique place to explore the picturesque old fishing village of Staithes, whilst been able to explore the plethora of attractions within the North York Moors National Park.
