About
The Old Manse is a fine Edwardian house set in 1 acre of garden/orchard, tastefully furnished and equipped to provide a wonderful base for you to explore Pickering and the North York Moors National Park. The Old Manse is a short walk from the North York Moors Steam Railway made famous by 'Harry Potter'. Pickering is also only 25 minutes drive to the historic city of York and 30 minutes from the heritage coast including Scarborough and Whitby. We are also conveniently placed for you to be able to walk into the attractive market town of Pickering.
The Old Manse has an excellent food reputation and despite a number of local, high quality pubs and restaurants, at least 50% of our visitors prefer to eat with us. For your convenience, we have secure onsite car parking for 13 vehicles. The Old Manse has 10 en suite rooms - 2 on the ground floor - and 1 with disabled facilities.
