About
Quayside Restaurant and Lounge Bar was opened in 1999 by the Fusco family and is housed in one of the town's oldest buildings on Whitby's historic quayside. The family have been serving fish and chips in Whitby for over 50 years and the restaurant remains family owned and managed.
Quayside is now a well renowned, nationally acclaimed, award-winning fish and seafood restaurant which prides itself on only using the best, sustainable produce. Occupying two floors, of which stunning, panoramic harbour views can be enjoyed from the first floor, visitors will find delicious fish and chips, grilled fish, seafood salads and an extensive cocktail and wine list. Food is homemade wherever possible, the homemade tartare sauce and scampi are renowned. The dessert menu is equally special featuring homemade gelato and traditional, homemade desserts.
As a family business, Quayside welcomes children of all ages and has superb facilities, including a delicious children’s menu for younger diners. Gluten free fish and chips are available, on request, throughout the week with no need to pre-book. Please mention any dietary requirements to your server prior to ordering.
The restaurant is fully licensed, air conditioned and has good access to both floors for disabled customers, as well as disabled car parking spaces outside.
