About

Sha-Ka Coffee House is the first Hawaiian inspired Coffee House and Eatery in Scarborough! The owner Cherry Pashby (Pastry Chef) and Stu Butler (Head Chef) have both travelled worldwide Catering for numerous bands and solo artists including: Coldplay, Little Mix, Kings of Leon, Andrea Bocelli, Kylie Minogue, Biffy Clyro & Take That to name a few! But both found themselves without work half way through a 2 year world tour catering for Sir Elton John, when Covid-19 hit and forced them to return home from Australia. They decided to take the plunge and share their extensive knowledge and culinary skills with Cherry’s hometown of Scarborough.

“We are very excited to share with you our favourite Hawaiian inspired menu with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. We noticed there was a gap in the market for Hawaiian food as Poke Bowls are extremely popular in Europe, America and Australia but are yet to make an impression here. Our aim is to change that, as well as serve you the freshest coffee possible with our exclusive coffee supplier StoneHouse Coffee Beans, who deliver coffee within 24 hours of roasting. We also have delicious homemade cakes for all dietary requirements! Not to mention clean and well behaved dogs will be welcomed with open arms and more than likely a Scooby snack!”
