Independent and family-run, we are the Crescent Bar set in an idyllic Georgian crescent in the heart of Scarborough. Serving home-made classic pub meals always using locally-sourced fresh seasonal ingredients. Centrally located only 5 minutes’ walk from the train station.

Road Directions

From the A64 Seamer Road (York and Leeds) follow the signs to the town centre. Turn Right onto Valley Road. Continue straight and take the first left on the roundabout to stay on Valley Road. Take the first exit at the next roundabout onto Vernon Road and at the next roundabout take the first exit onto Somerset Terrace. Take the next left onto The Crescent and the hotel is on the left. Parking is available on the Crescent with permits available for £5 per day at reception.

From the A171 Scalby Road (Whitby and Middlesbrough) follow signs to the town centre, as you pass the hospital keep straight continuing on Scalby Road until you get to a mini roundabout. Take the first exit onto Falsgrave Road. Continue straight to keep on Falsgrave Road. Once you reach the train station (on your right) turn Right onto Valley Bridge Road and left onto Somerset Terrace. Take a Right at the traffic lights to enter onto the Crescent and the hotel is on the left. Parking is available on the Crescent with permits available for £5 per day at reception.

Public Transport Directions

From the Train Station turn right towards the town centre. Keep walking until you get to the Brunswick centre and turn right. We are located on the Crescent just off the mini roundabout opposite the Palm Court multi-storey car park.
