About
During your visit you will see a large collection of exotic and spectacular birds of prey. There are flying demonstrations every day – whatever the weather. We have 3 flying areas – and one of them is inside if the weather is really bad. Often, there will also be opportunities to see the birds being trained on the flying field. The demos are always popular with photographers.Set amongst the veteran oaks of Duncombe Park this is a place for the whole family to enjoy. Many visitors spend a whole day with us, you really need at least 2 hours to see everything. Why not bring a picnic and make a day of it?
The Owl House Cafe offers wonderful home cooked food with a range of daily specials on the blackboard. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available with seating in the flying ground and picnic tables are situated in the Hawk Walk and the flying ground.
Group visits from schools and other organisations are welcome and pre booked parties of 15 or more individuals may be given a guided tour of the Centre by prior arrangement.
Hawk Hire - Falconry Experience
We’ll lend you a glove and then set off on our Hawk Hike on one of our various routes with a trained Harris Hawk.
