Night awe-walks - Kilburn White Horse

Book Tickets Online

In these after-work and weekend events, watch your feel-good factor increase as you embrace the night sky above you. Walk by the light of a magical full moon or be immersed in total darkness - except for the twinkling lights of villages below.

On this walk you'll weave your way through primeval, mystical woodland. Skirt the edge of an ancient geological limestone scar that once housed one of the largest Iron Age hill forts in Europe.

You'll traverse slowly while we show you a few mindfulness exercises that'll enhance your stargazing experience. Then you'll then hop out at the top where you'll be rewarded with huge skies. On clear nights you'll still be able to make out constellations, planets and shooting stars - even at full moon.

Fabian, our walk leader for the evening, will drop in a little celestial information here and there. But the evening is more about walking and enjoying the heavens above you. Walking at night not only raises your spirits, it has many other benefits too.
