North Yorkshire Water Park, at Wykeham Lakes near Scarborough, is home to one of the largest natural water sport lakes in North Yorkshire. The Water Park, spanning 250 hectares, offers a range of fun filled activities suitable for the whole family!


Create unforgettable adventures and experience the thrills of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Open Water Swimming available 7 days a week. Whether you are looking to develop your water sport skills, challenge yourself to learn something new, or simply want to take in the beautiful lakeside views, there’s an activity to suit everyone!

Make a splash on our Aqua Park, consisting of a range of inflatable floating obstacle courses which guarantees a day out to remember. From climbing walls, huge slides, trampolines, balance bars, rockers, rollers and blast bags, this unmissable attraction is the perfect way to challenge yourself with a range of courses to suit all ages and abilities.

The Water Park is also home to an exciting new attraction, a 13-metre-high tower with two climbing walls and two 250m long ziplines where thrill seekers can take a breath-taking descent across the lakes on the zip wire whilst taking in the views of North Yorkshire Water Park.


Take a leisurely stroll, jog, or cycle along our 2.5km all-terrain gravelled track with views of the beautiful natural landscape, or hop on a pedalo to enjoy the views from the water! The Water Park is dog friendly, but make sure to keep them on a lead so wildlife and nesting birds aren’t disturbed.

Our café is open for takeaway hot and cold drinks and delicious cold snacks.

The Water Park has three well stocked lakes, with specialist trout, predator and coarse lakes to choose from, within a short walk of the leisure lake.

      North Yorkshire Water Park is situated within the beautiful setting of Wykeham Lakes in the village of Wykeham. The entrance to Park is off the A170, some 600 yards on the Scarborough side of the village of Wykeham. From Scarborough: Follow the signs to “Thirsk A170”. From the A1/M62: Drive on the A64, past York, to Malton. Take the A169 to Pickering, and then follow the A170 towards Scarborough.
