Coronation Celebrations at Castle Howard

About

Castle Howard cordially invites you to join us in celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty The King.

Visitors to Castle Howard will get to experience a royal display as the Long Gallery plays host to an exhibition celebrating the King's Coronation, featuring luxurious peers' robes worn to coronations gone by. Our full set of Crown Jewels, exact replicas of the historical regalia used in the coronation itself, will also be on display, giving you the opportunity to appreciate first-hand their scale and splendour. The exhibition opens on the 1st April and entry is free with a valid House ticket.

We are also marking this momentous occasion in true British style with a Coronation Afternoon Tea in our Grecian Hall on select dates in May featuring an exquisite menu of delicious sweet and savoury items curated by our Head Chef and the option to add a glass of Nyetimber English sparkling wine.
