Dare to Create @ YMCA Scarborough FREE TASTER

About

You're invited to make 2021 the year you Dare to Create with a brand-new theatre-based project for 11-18-year olds at YMCA Scarborough, and you're invited to try it out for free before then too!

Dare to Create are offering two weekly workshops for any young people who love the theatre and want to create and perform on a regular basis

As well as workshops in theatre skills, dance and movement, comedy, drama, musical theatre, singing and voice acting, you'll also get the opportunity to put your own special twist into your performances. You'll be able to write your own plays, choreograph your own dances, choose your own songs, and learn to direct, using sections of well-known plays and musical theatre shows.

This taster session will be an opportunity for the young people to experience the types of activities they could be taking part in and to meet the leaders and other participants.

At the end of the session, parents/guardians and the young people themselves will be given the opportunity to ask any questions or raise any concerns that will help you understand the project better and build a relationship with the creators, who will be happy to answer all your queries.

Due to Coronavirus restrictions, this taster session will be limited to 15 participants so please register your place as soon as possible at www.daretocreate.co.uk. See Less
