JACQUI CHAN in Changing Woman
Of Chinese descent and Trinidadian birth, the extraordinary Jacqui Chan’s seven-decade career has embraced dance (The King & I, Kismet), drama (Royal Court, West End, National Theatre – from Aristophanes and Lorca to Alan Bennett), film (Cleopatra, Krakatoa East of Java), direction and solo story-telling shows. In a rare return to Scarborough, Jacqui will perform some of her amazing stories, including The Monkey Bells and The Keys (a Caribbean take on Adam & Eve) – all with an amusingly feminist edge!
