Two kids at the side of a lake in a garden

About

Come celebrate nature this May half term. Join garden tours to explore the many different plants and flowers that flourish in the grounds, and embark on a nature trail to meet the curious insects that share our green spaces. In the exhibition space, ‘British Wildlife Photography awards’ will be on display which celebrates up-and-coming photographers of the natural world.

Join us for ‘Nature at Nunnington’ on Saturday 27 – Sunday 28 May, where visitors will have the opportunity to meet some very friendly animals and learn all about them. Lion Learners, North Yorkshire Bat Group and Pickering Hedgehog Rescue are just a few of the stalls visiting with their furry friends. There are plenty of activities to get involved with such as river dipping, and insect-finding.
